If they already laid off significant workforce in low cost areas like India, Mexico etc… I can’t imagine the kind of blood bath it will be come Tuesday morning in America

D-DAY == September 2nd
The AMA channels were always full of questions from IDC and not the USA, we know better to STFU. It was comical as to what people thought was a good question to ask an exec. I guess the RIFd people picked themselves really.
Looks like they've locked down the channel now, not available to everyone.
@b1 It is always worth remembering, HR serves the company's interests and not yours.
Anyone who works in HR knows this.
The fact this slack channel is public is insanity! Someone clearly F-ed up!
I personally like how upbeat and happy all the HR reps are in that channel. I mean, I get it, it's a tough job and they have to support each other when they are ordered to do stuff like this, but it's almost like they're celebrating a job well done like they just accomplished a great beneficial project.
@ap it’s almost comical how stupid these people are
Check in slack training-9-2
You'll find it next to the slack channel discussing focal announcements and how to apply for your free unicorn.
It's a wall of official silence on all related matters, as usual.
I suppose that it will not be discussed openly among the employees. I have read on reddit last week that some HR channels were muted regarding this situation. And it’s not surprise for me - I remember there was a channel created dedicated Steve and people could have asked Steve anything. After some time it was observed the employees questions full of frustrations. Finally the the channel was removed.
