They use RTO to mean Return to Office from a WFH position, but they also use it when they move your job from one state to another and essentially displace you from them, giving you the ultimatum. Move your entire life to where the job went, or you’re no longer employed.
Obviously these are two different things, so why use the same term?
It’s a tactic. They want to hide the fact that they’re moving jobs away from employees by intentionally conflating two separate things.
Why use tactics like this? When you know what you’re doing is wrong and will be looked at unfavorably. That’s our leadership.
