If you hate your job this much you should leave. Better for everybody else, and better for your own mental health.

All this and whining over matters you have no control over and yet you seem to want to get your head around it You have no say nor do you have any control on what goes down. No one cares how much it cuts or how deep. Leadership Is a mindless automaton implementing what they're told to do. This platform has turned into a Cathartic session. It's clear the company wants you to go home or don't clinch while being serviced by corporate BS.

Fair to ask? Given the ongoing layoffs—such as the recent announcement affecting hundreds in Washington state—and the shift of jobs offshore, which have understandably raised concerns among U.S. employees about job security and long-term company stability, could leadership provide greater transparency into our financial position? Specifically, what are our current operating costs broken down by key areas (e.g., network, sales, support, administrative), where do we stand relative to profitability targets (are we operating in the red in any core segments, or is this more about further optimizing already strong margins?), and what specific benchmarks or thresholds do we need to hit to ensure sustainability and potential stabilization or growth in domestic jobs? Additionally, in the spirit of shared sacrifice during these workforce transformations, have executives above the director level—whose compensation packages often include multimillion-dollar base salaries, bonuses, and equity awards—considered measures like freezing their own raises, bonuses, or incentives to help preserve U.S. roles and demonstrate alignment with the broader team?

@eg While my heart likes this idea, my brain reminds me that I have bills to pay. So I don’t think it will happen, sorry. Hat off to you if you’ll do it.

@dq The whole company should go and then walk out.

Someone needs to stand up in the meeting and ask the real questions that they can’t side step. Put the pressure back on them. Especially if you know you have one foot out the door anyways. This will be more effective for the workforce by putting back on the leadership.

Don't bother. Pomp and circumstance. Get the Pic? Thanks for all your efforts to make millions for others. Thanks for helping families connect. Your efforts will be memorialized in our hallway of honor for years to come. The ones we walk through laughing at you while we go to work in our fancy buildings with private restrooms and boardrooms to think about how to make more money.

@b0 The other trick they try to pull is to pretend they are enlightened philanthropists when they are really just greedy capitalists.

Is there ever anything to get excited over? Best quarter ever? It’s the same OL same OL.How about leaders making over X and millions start announcing they are restructuring to take less for their salaries to reduce operation cost and layoffs. That might get some applause.

@av That is how every “leader” in this company functions, if you haven’t figured it out yet.

Smile in your face then stab you in the back.

Fu-k you over, then create some hype event to get everyone drinking the koolaid again. Rinse and repeat.
