Mgmt RTO Monitoring and Reporting

Hi All - do you know how strictly they are monitoring things? What's being evaluated and tracked?

Oh they know, at least HR does, they just are powerless to do anything about it because they would have to fire half of every department

I really doubt they care as long as you badge in daily, show up to your in person meetings, get your work done, and don't pi-s off your manager.

They can track badge scans and whether you are logged onto the Nike network.

I don’t believe that managers readily have access to this data but it is out there.

I don't think management has time to track this, but your keystrokes are knowable. Security has a few weeks' history of whatever you used on your keyboard. I believe this is stored just for compliance and security purposes, not for productivity tracking.

@ay SD I know gets percentage data on how many in the org are badging over a certain time period but not who and when. Some pass that data to their Ds but many dont. They just complain that people need to be in more but there is no teeth to it

Management doesn't have visibility into your badge scans. They can only know what they see with their own eyes. Not saying that won't change, but that's the current reality. Source: I'm a director.

Measure outcomes. Forget effort. Forget presence.

They need to measure real value output before doing that nonsense

It's vibes and different from manager to manager. Pre-covid people on my team spent tons of time away from desk and often packed up early

How often leadership sees you at your desk, how often that fits into their schedule of sparsely being see or available at their desks.
