July (small) and Sept-October (bigger)
based on last 2-3 years. Likely June and July for the same layoff. and October-November for the bigger layoff.
Everyday there will be layoffs.
3 months. Right on schedule.
@ax looking at the wider tech market wave after wave of layoffs - even when revenue and profits are up (Oracle/Meta/Salesforce/Bloc/Amazone/google/Dell/etc/etc.) The last 12 months have been brutal. So my take on it all is that there will also be further Netapp layoff waves in the next 12 months. I hope I am wrong! But that is my thinking. Just look around, we are not siloed..
As long as the cash flow number looks good, you can expect to hear rumors in Oct. If cash flow is trending down, sooner.
Also if your product fails.
Major layoffs usually happen twice a year. Near Converge, and near Thanksgiving. You are good for another 6 months.
Probably Septemberish.
