@bw - Agree training for a trade like a Plumber, Electrician, etc or go in Legal or go into medical is the only route now for guaranatee that AI/Robots can't replace you
When I joined - IT was the next big thing. It's served me well. But have now become totally disillusioned with it all. It can all be done from the other side of the plant, by some AI chat bot that's free! Why would anyone pay for IT!!?
I am not encouraging my kids to come into this industry. You need a job you actually have to show up for, and uses skills other people don't have or don't want to have. Although it's tough - the only things going at the moment are minimum wage barrister work. Unless you're a highly dedicated genius.
Honestly the best turnaround strategy for the ANZ business may be handing its keys to literally anyone nearby. At this point it’s basically a nonprofit dedicated to destroying margins elsewhere.

@av A company's aim is to make profit for it's shareholders. But not with an enslaved workforce. It's lost sight of any long-term goal. It doesn't seem to care about keeping the brand into the next decade.
