Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

confidentiality and non-solicitation agreement.

Has anyone NOT signed their agreement? I wonder who all received this agreement- was it the entire company?

I received a wonderful, threatening email today saying we have to sign by 6/30 or you will not be eligible to receive pending or future LTI awards. I’m a bit confused why this is being rolled out now. No new role, no new job, not even customer facing. Simply put: I don’t believe this is even applicable to our role but there is definitely triggering language in there NOT specific to customers rather generally speaking ‘confidential information’ which seems like they are trying to give employees a gag order for retaining/documenting information (not customer related) to protect themselves by preventing employees from documenting their shady ways. Curious your thoughts….

@OP Can someone explain who is being required to sign this? Is this everyone eligible for AIP and LTI? If we have signed in the past, is there an updated version we now need to sign? Or, is this something that is for those that haven’t signed in the past?

My LTI is so small already and last 2 years they didnt give me the dull amount. Pretty sure they are letting us know we are not going to be compensated fairly ever and they will find another way to hit our bonus. Take my LTI. I will take my chances on a lawsuit because your unethical behavior and treatment is LOUD and PROUD.

@av What’s wrong with posting here on a bank device?

There are two documents for some people. One covers LTI and the other is some sort of NDA. The latter is what they will use against you if you leak internal or confidential information. Be careful of how you handle information and what you post on here and other sites. Hopefully no one's posting to rumor sites on bank owned devices.

Good on you all for being cautious. I did sign in. My understanding is if you don't you lose all future LTI and cannot get it back. That's a lot of money to lose on principle.

Not signing. LTI for me is paid full yearly due to eligible to retire status.

LTI not worth the restrictive covenants since it was lowered for me. That backfired for the bank ha ha.

Not signing it! That blurb about confidential material. Im keeping my receipts. You fire me for anything other than my work quality which is stellar and think im not filing a case and signing away my protections.
