Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

DXC the slave driver operation

DXC treats its employees in a slave like manner. Once your in you never get a pay rise, promises are made of a annual merit evry year but it never materializes. They expect everyone to deliver at a top level to clients and retrain into AI and Cloud for nothing. The exec meanwhile dont deliver on their promises of growth but are entitled to Millions of $s in pay for delivering their failures. They tell the employees to leave if they dont like it. What an unjust and corrupt company, the DXC way.....

@c6 He is insisting that as a manager @dz gets regular salary increases. That part checks out.

None of you guys will leave, cause firstly you are not qualified enough for the outside Market. Secondly dxc in your resume is a silent ki-ler.

@c6+1kazrthk5 why do DXC management take millions for delivering yearly shrinkage?

They need to leave and replaced by better Management. There's many CEOs and CFOs out there than can do a proper job and do a turnaround.

@c4 We don't do salary increases. We don't do counter offers. Our policy is simple: we don’t pay at market level. That’s the policy.

Do better than this mix of dishonesty and poor business acumen. You are not helping DXC.

@bv I’m afraid your statements are factually untrue. Good luck in securing an alternative role elsewhere. I’m sure you will be very much missed.

@br You’re not discrediting him. You’re just turning up the volume on everything he’s already saying.

DXC’s management culture is so brilliantly captured in your response. They’ll happily watch experienced employees walk out the door rather than pay anything even resembling a market-level salary and then bring in brand-new starters to maintain systems they swear are so critical for their customers.

So thank you for making it glaringly obvious to any DXC customer who bothers to glance in this direction what’s really going on inside this circus of a company.

@bb, why don’t you concentrate more of your efforts on securing a role somewhere else, instead of complaining in an echo chamber. Surely that’s the sensible thing to do!! What is holding you back?

It seems that every single thing I pick up is broken or has serious issues. There is no consistency. There is no care. There is no documentation and nowhere to put it anyway. There is no pay rise, the benefits are dwindling. New staff say nothing, know nothing. Colleagues, I have no idea what they are doing other than attend meetings where actions are discussed but never delivered. The place is falling apart. How much longer can I stay on!? Forcing people to have 2 weeks off at Christmas when they didn't want it - is surely the time we all polish off our CV or take a look at our finances and realise it's too much hassle for too little financial reward staying on into 2026.

@at how do you know if the op is still at DXC?

As he points out your just a typical Exec/Manager asking folks to leave because you dont have the skills to grow the company and pay market rate.

Why dont you leave, you are taking big money for incompetent level of growth for 8 years of DXC whilst the techs are at least providing service.

You need to grow a pair and look at yourself first. Either take a paycut, leave, or grow the company, dont ask the workers to leave.

@at 75% of DXC’s workforce has been hired in the last five years. Why does DXC keep recruiting people when it cannot offer fair employment? What is the point of pulling talent out of secure and promising roles with grand promises of growth only to discard them in a WFR cycle months later because there are no real projects to put them on? There is no workforce planning. DXC is a revolving door that misleads candidates, damages careers and erodes every shred of trust left in the company.

When a significant portion of DXC’s alumni end up working inside the very customers DXC is trying to sell to, do people like you seriously believe your alumni are praising the company? The truth is DXC is a chaotic, low-trust and no-investment organization that burns through people.

The louder this truth is spoken, the better it is for everyone: prospective employees who deserve to know what they’re walking into and prospective customers who deserve to understand the risks of partnering with a company that treats its own people as expendable.

Even the most dimwitted cheerleaders inside DXC like yourself may eventually benefit from the growing recognition that the workforce management is fundamentally broken. The truth helps everyone, even those like you too busy nodding along to C-rated leadership.

@OP why don’t you leave then? No one is chained in!! Find a better paying job that meets your expectations.

Sums up DXC accurately, the Management are not transparent, they are untruthful and on every Town Hall the top question relates to pay rises, which they dismiss, then wonder why there is no employee engagement.

You cant keep on ignoring the employees they have reached a desperate situation now.
