Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

8 is great

Hey, forcing people back to push attrition. Using policies that will disproportionately affect older workers and primary caregivers. All while pi----g off in demand people that can leave if they have a chance. What could go wrong? 8 is great.

HYs plan to fix that will be yet another massive round of layoffs to force colocation of teams. Coming next year.

If I recall, 8 is Great was the sales quota that led to the fraudulent accounts.

Funny how it is all forgotten now since the asset cap was lifted.

Congrats, your life s-cked.

Guess what? A lot of us don’t work with anyone in our location. Being in office or at home doesn’t matter. It is still all communication through Teams meetings or emails. Then we have to put a few hours of work in at night too.

There is absolutely no reason to be in office for 8 hours, speak to no one in office because no one around you has any job role even tangentially related.

@a7 @at - You live in a very fortunate time with the ability to WFH (2 days).
In my single parent days, I had to get the kids up, lunches made or $$ distributed, dressed, fed, ready for school/day care, drive them to school/dc and still made it to work on time for a full 8 hours. Grateful I HAD a job. If my kids were sick, I lost PTO time.
As a group, you are insensitive and ungrateful.
Your job is to add value to shareholders not a welfare check because you exist. Start adding value.

Making fun of single parents says 1 of two things…

  1. You’re so isolated in your own little archipelago that you don’t realize how many single parents are around you.

  2. You’re Charlie who has never had to worry about anyone other than papa diamond

Single parents are the ones who will suffer the most. Just waiting until I get fired because my daycare drops me as a client because of traffic issues on my way home. I didn’t choose this life, but it sure is about to get harder! Can’t wait! Thanks for the family friendly flexibility and work life balance!
