A couple of people in my department were quietly RIF'd this month. Fortunately, they both found other internal roles before their last day. I feel like I'm next, but after 30 internal apps, I'm getting nowhere, just screeners that quietly die. Looking at Workday, roles similar to mine are at a lower PM and many roles require hub proximity. Is Humana intentionally shedding people by realigning salaries?

Happened to my after 26 years, but I found another job internally so almost at 30 years. Good things can come from this, have faith.
@k9 gosh I saddened about reading this, 10 years gosh
@f3 Ten year tenure clinical operations associate laid off Tuesday.
@f3 they don't make organizational announcements for two people being RIF'd, especially when it doesn't result in reporting structure changes.
You are losing sight on the number of senior positions that have been added over the past year or two. There are so many top level jobs. They have to pay for it somehow.
I haven't heard of anyone getting RIFd this week and no one "RIFd" will say what department. . I think some of this is ragebait yall

@as starting to resemble a pyramid scheme
What is weird is, Humana apparently thinks that its employees are overpaid and are trying to remedy that by bringing the salary median down.
But I was just reading a stock market article just today that referred to Humana as being “the largest managed care company in the country.”
So, I ask you, how is it that the “largest managed care company in the country” cannot have its employees salaries to keep pace with other super large corporations?!
Where is the disconnect???
