@aw I would say there are definitely SDs who know who's who in band 7. The question to the poster who is in band 5 is whether or not they created a list, or will they be notified on Monday of their fate? I doubt a VP would have insight onto who would be put on the list from level 7, unless they cut entire teams. This is all such cr-p! Ease into a bit - Dan will be one hated CEO for sure, despite those before him creating this mess
I keep seeing band 5 lvl was where the list was made. But rarely are they in a position to know with any degree of certainty who they need or dont need at the band 7 level, or even some Sr mgrs (band 6). So how would they decide? Did they get band 6 input? Most band 6s say no one approached them.
@as What info did you include on the list? Name, rank….what else? Tenure? Salary? Etc?
@as So your VP or AVP told you they submitted lists and you will know your fate as a band 5 employee on Monday, and you will tell your team on Thursday? So you're VP or AVP selected whoever goes? Did I interpret this correctly? Who created the "lists?"

Lists were due at the end of October.
VPs and up (band 4 and up) have been told
Senior Directors and AVPs will be told Monday
Band 6 and below on Thursday. Phone call from your boss in the morning.

Lists were previously submitted as part of strategy/downsizing sessions to mitigate impact.
@a8 I heard tomorrow (11/14). Then us minions Band 6 and below get the fateful call on 11/20 (either to tell us we are directly impacted, or that we’ll be reporting into someone different because our AD or SD was impacted).
When will AD’s be notified?
They were asked to rank their FTEs awhile awhile ago, tho the number of folks impacted at that point was not directly known.
