@ke company can do well and even than they do LRs. That‘s the reason why so many are upset - and that LRs are often used from useless VP, Dirs, GMs to get ridd of „difficult“ folks.
Company is doing well. There is no layoff for a while. at least Q3/Q4 current fiscal or Q1 of FY 2027. Earning calls did not indicate anything forward looking.

True or not, these rumors are accepted now by rank-and-file who just phone-it-in and do the bare minimum. Why would you commit to real effort when your company is just going to get rid of you anyway?
Its called MORALE and it is not a priority at Cisco (or IBM, or Oracle, or other big d-mb old tech companies). Just adds to the rate of deterioration, which paradoxically makes more layoffs inevitable.
The rational response to being boarded on to the Titanic is to quietly and promptly find your way off.

NVIDIA says AI spending is great... that means Cisco Data Center spending will be great.. CSCO will hit 100$ soon... hmm.. who care if you get LR'ed...
The cut like 300 jobs a few weeks ago... Out of 80k. Head down and do your work, hope for the best but always plan for the worst. That's all you can do.
