Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Legg - 55% RTO hub / 45% remote

The Legg organization has 45% of their employees working remote without any RTO requirements.

The rest of us uprooted our families & relocated to Dallas/Atlanta only to be treated worse than our peers that held out & stayed at home. Hub employees have lost their greatest benefit --flextime. We would have rather taken a pay cut.

Meanwhile, our remote peers sit & wait for the day their time is up while continuing to enjoy the luxury of work any time, any day, from where ever you want. How is this legal?

CSO is not immune entirely but some groups have been. The problem is they can't replace some of these people wi--y nilly. RTO letters are being ramped up though.

That’s their edict. Nobody can convince them to change it.
That bald head Ward’s edict is terrible. He must have inherited it from Summers and Legg.

Thinking about getting a couple rooms at the hotel next door. Drinks, snacks, gaming. Spend the day connecting instead of hating.

That place is a sh1thole. Another poster child for the urban decay of the Lenox and Buckhead area. Probably ho----s in residence.

" Anyone still having a virtual designator is working on borrowed time."

Good. Waiting for the layoff and severance. Till then, once a month baby.

(Chuckling knowing how this infuriates OP, the "irrational hatred of anyone NVW" guy. LOL)

Anyone can pull a report anytime!

And they can tell who's pulling those reports. Better have a darn good reason for doing it.

Who TF cares if they can tell who’s pulling those reports. Wake up and live life. They aren’t your mommy and daddy. What kind of mind job have they done on you? My reason for pulling the report is that I don’t trust them and I know they’re up to some devious, no good $hit. I pull reports for my attorney. Got a problem? Come to me and confront me Jack hole.

There are LOTS of exceptions in CSO under Legg. Many have to go to a NON hubs once a month if that often. Others have and continue to be working in non hubs with no mention of EVER having to relocate.

And of course, you always have to remember how they fictitously made Charlotte a hub for their own leadership purposes. Meanwhile, OTHER people are being let go for failing to move. Anyone getting laid off should seriously hire a lawyer because of all the exceptions they have that don't apply to everyone. Was told there was a recent hire in a NON hub location.

That's not the same as "45% of their employees working remote without any RTO requirements."

45% of his work force outside of hubs.

That's not the same as "45% of their employees working remote without any RTO requirements." There are still people who don't have to remote to Atlanta/Dallas until 6/30 and some beyond. They still have to remote to their local/original offices until then either 3 or 5 days as prescribed. But yes, there are some who have been told that they can WFH until they are to report to a hub, or will be transitioned off payroll if they said they won't move, though I'm sure there are some who are still allowed to be virtual and/or report to a different office without any of the mentioned scenarios.

All this hate makes me sad.
Yup - the work environment isn’t great.
It’s not going to change anytime soon.

I’m at Lenox 3rd floor.

Thoughts?

No one is forced. The decision is voluntary.

Anyone can easily check these numbers in webphone. Look up Left, filter by employees only and export results to include occupancy indicator.

If you are in the states and work in the Legg organization, you will be RTO'd to death so you quit or you will be surplussed. You have no future at T unless you are in India. Legg organization is only about moving work out of the country as well as the management.

“No one was forced to move. Employees chose to relocate. If being honest, they knew there was no other option due to having outdated skills.”

F-k you liar. When employees received the letter they had to respond that they are moving or understood they will lose their job. That is the very meaning of forced you dip sh-t. Regarding skills, the people compiling the list and sending out letters have less skill than anyone.

You chose to relocate and now want to play victim? Own your decision.

Hey D.i.k! You purposefully missed the point but we see right through it.
The poster was FORCED to move or lose this job, as opposed the being granted a pass, keeping your job without being forced to move. Got it ya D.I.K?..

The #FCC should also investigate the employees that are remote and getting a pass. Right Jeremy? The other D.I.K. We would all like to know if the vast majority of Jeremy Leggs remote employees are his precious DEI hires, replacing those that he laid off.
