Absolutely no point in taking the survey or participating in anything Chevron related. Its a completely dead company so who cares. Back to operation bare minimum effort!!!

XOM here - they have now indefinitely deferred further employee surveys bc pretending to care about employee feedback is not a value add. MW will get yall there in <3 years

I love this post because it lays it all out there. When I looked the up votes I am happy to see 0 downvotes at the time of my feedback.
I completely feel this way too, I have been at Chevron 20+ years and the past 10 months the company has collapsed with disorganization and poor decision making. We have taken one step forward and two steps backward since the reorganization started.
My job was out of scope and i couldn’t apply for a new position nor could o get the package to leave. It looks like now the new plan is to PIP the people the management does not like like and leave them with no severance after 20+ years.

Fake survey. Meaningless. Do you know how I know? They never shared the last survey because it was so negative. They just want fake compliments and not true feedback like they claim.

I always filled out the employee surveys and gave thoughtful feedback. They can go fu-k themselves for all I care now. I get up each day and hate working here more. I feel completely trapped in a job that was a bait and switch, where I have to deal with one of the nastiest people I’ve come across in a long time. And I ask myself what the he-l is the point of some stupid survey that will absolutely change nothing? Fu-k this place and all the a--holes who ruined it, starting with MW, his ELT & the POS consultants, who truly are the cockroaches of the business world. We will never be rid of them; certainly not with such useless leadership who is unable to grow a pair and make any relevant decisions on their own. You know what? Fu-k it. I am gonna submit a survey. IDGAF if they fire me at this point.
If the survey could change anything, they'd never let you respond to it. It's just about letting the proles shout into the void. It means nothing. Just assign negative scores across the board without comment and move on.

Likely that those advocating for surveys to Chevron’s leadership have doesn't know how to work around the point that a survey is usually sent out when senior leadership has lost the pulse of the patient due to management bloat and diluted upward messaging.
Highly likely that senior leadership lives in a bubble, believing the reorganization was a resounding success. We are enduring survey fatigue. You as may read the comments of the surveys but lack the drive to act on them - you too are fatigued to do anything about it as we are at the event horizon.
Rip them up on glass door and other reviews!
