Vote your shares!!

If you have any Chevron shares vote for an independent board and against the Executive compensation.

@am You should still vote, regardless.

There are approximately two billion issued shares of CVX stock. The vast majority are owned by mutual funds and institutional investors. The amount owned by employees is an insignificant rounding error and will zero effect on voting for governance changes.

Its called separation of powers. Look at the mess we are in at Chevron. An independent board is needed to truly evaluate the ELT. MW was supposed to be gone years ago but is still lingering like a cough. Its unethical for the CEO to be the executive branch, on the Supreme Court and congress. No company should do this and its why the corporate work world is so bad for employees. We can't control all the companies but we can attempt to make our company somewhat ethical.

@OP Give me all your reasons why. And how Chevron is any different from any other major firm in the O&G Business. I might change my thumbs down to a thumbs up if you give me serious valid reasons. And no because the Execs make too much money is not a valid answer. Go to the Oracle site or pick on Jamie Dimon if you want to pick on really high paid execs. I was a slacker for 36 years at CVX and I got paid a lot over time and am happily retired in the Bay Area.
