Stock was trading at $296.62 on the day I was RIF'd. It closed today at $137.86. LMAO!

The $296 or rather the $345 after the Q1 earnings call was temporarily crafted and orchestrated by Safra. After that exuberant event followed executives and RSU holders selling a lot of shares, the stock was obviously not going to continue at that outlier high position.
Oracle still has 100k employees too many. Once Oracle AI is trained up, they can finally shed the fat. Management is constantly monitoring and forcing us to use Oracle Chat to train our replacement. This is happening across the board in all fields so you can't just blame Oracle. AI is your true frenemy! It frees up more of your time so you can play with it!
@am I knew that post would get down votes but it is still true.
There is a lot more downside potential for the employees. There is no faster way to cut costs than cut head count. It is hard to believe that Oracle needs anywhere close to 155K employees.
You are not laughing alone!
is the theory behind its behavior
if oracle fires enough people it will become very valued
