When can we expect more jobs to be posted by TIAA? Jan. 2026? February?

- Laugh. New jobs and in offshoring? We all know better.
@ak you’re probably counting India.
@OP more jobs will be posted after incentive comp is paid as many long term employees quit then.
@z7 interesting how now the reason for the March layoffs is 'Not Specified' yet the ones in 2025 were 'Closure/Move to smaller office', 'Reduction in Force', and 'Closure'. what is TIAA hiding?
@t7 while March 3rd will be the highest Denver office closure layoff round so far at 101 per CO warn site… it won’t be as bad as July 1st when the remaining Denver staff will be let go.
Still scary to see 100 of our colleagues gone in one day.
@r5 so, if your new team has any Denver staff, be prepared to do more with less for quite a while. Like whatever is on your job description now, may have more tasks added come March and July so keep that in mind.
They won’t all be 1 for 1 rehires and even so many would be brand new hires needing much more time to get acclimated to TIAA and it’s systems and processes.
Also looking to be transferred internally to a different team...why will it be scary in March/July? More layoffs expected?
@ar WTF ! you can't read can you ? There are 138 jobs currently posted. OP was asking about jobs being posted and 138 jobs are currently posted unless, of course, these are fake job posts.
@ak how many jobs in Charlotte? 3?
@ak wtf... The OP was asking about jobs.
I read the first responder @ac saying it will be scary as we are set to lose some 800 Denver folks by start of Q3 (in another words we'll continue to do way more, with way less). Coupled with the fact that the company has been in a downward spiral for well over over 5 years now so tread lightly here whether internal or external.
@ac There are currently 138 job openings on the TIAA website. Not sure what kind of job you are looking for but there are many jobs posted. Whether any of them are legit posts and are intended to be filled, that is an entirely different question and story.
Not sure if you are looking to hire someone or looking to be hired/transfer internally.
If you are looking and are internal my advice is leave after bonus time as it will be scary here come March/July. If you are external look elsewhere, this company is other it used to be 5, 10, or 15+ years ago.
Definitely January and February for half or more of the Denver folks being off boarded in March. Not everyone will be replaced. Likely all of those will be internal hires to Frisco only, maybe Charlotte as only second city option. Then rinse and repeat in May/June for July off boards.
