Heard there are changes coming to WPE . What is it, 4 days a week or non consecutive days in the office?

They can't focus on other, "more important" things. That would require competent, knowledge leadership that understands the business and processes they are supposedly in charge of. When you lack that functional competency, you focus and obsess over silly administrative nonsense such as WPE as the only way for you to project any kind of authority over your team(s). However, employees typically see right through that BS and see you for the empty-title hacks you truly are.

I have come to realization it is what it is and because BOA is a "At will" company they can let go of folks for a Stupid!@# WPE non compliant policy not beinh followed. However, instead of leadership worrying about whose not meeting the WPE requirements they need to shift their D-mb!@# attention to more important things such as technology because we have stupid a$$ applications that work like cr-p and always technical issues that go wrong. But yet expect folks to do their jobs at the same but can't because of some applications NOT working properly so manual processes have to be done in the interim.

I get that they have leases that they want to utilize BUT He-l utilize the properties wisely and efficiently. There are a lot of LOBs that have teams located geographically in different states and/or countries so WPE really isn't that effective for those types of team in some cases depending upon their role/job responsibilities. Me personally since being back in the office I still collaborate now with my team the exact same way before pandemic which was via conference/video calls because my immediate team is geographically all located in different states.

I just hate that the bank isn't paying attention to more important things than WPE. ALL of BM and his goons for certain got their huge A$$ bonuses this year so obviously employees are doing their jobs accordingly. Grant it I know there are some slackers so it really should be those who aren't doing their fair share of work RTO until they earn that hybrid opportunity. Lol

Why would they even care about employees not working consecutive days from home? Very petty. I would love to hear their lame and phony reasoning for that.

I heard today it will be 4 days a week in office for everyone with announcement coming first week in June. I hope this isn't true.

How do you attest to 8 hours in office? VPN ? Or ?

In summary, managers were told that on 3.10 we would receive training on 4 days in office for those who have an assigned office, 3 non consecutive days for all else, and attest to 8 hours per day. That did not go in and that’s where the rumor mill begins. No one has said why it did not go in. I’m assuming a delay vs a cancel. Hopefully they’ve changed their minds bc most of us coming in office have not had a raise for years so this is the only benefit we have.
