When priggs fly
But how would that work. They sold the office building in my town.
Package please… I mean pretty please respectfully, nationwide dude doesn’t have a clue. I give him 6 months when he figures it we’re swirling the drain
Like they’d spend more money on office space.
I’m not reporting to office if they lay off great if not working a second job already not because to cheat system because we all know Lumen is going down the drain eventually was hoping to be long enough to get laid off to get package. Told management multiple times to put me on layoff list.
My team is already Hybrid, sometimes it’s nice to be in the office. What su-ks is we have good quality engineers that were here during the COVID remote work and they aren’t in the state. It would su-k to lose them.
@by I bet you're a riot at parties. 🙄
Remote work will never go away.
@by yaaaaaaaaawn
Well that was d-mb of them to move out of state.
Not to worry. Remote work and out of region residence will be still an option for VP and above. Kye and his poutine eaters won't be required to move to where the work is.
They sold the office building in my area so there is no office. Id be forced out.
What office? They closed/sold most of them, see Broomfield campus and the Mineral building in Colorado.
That is the one rumor I hope is true.
Good! They need to report to the office.
Need to support the local businesses.
Psychological projection is an unconscious defense mechanism where individuals attribute their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, or traits onto someone else to avoid dealing with them directly, often to protect self-esteem or reduce anxiety.
Common signs include unwarranted accusations, blaming others, and extreme criticism of traits the projector actually possesses.
Key Aspects of Psychological Projection
How it Works: The ego splits off unwanted feelings—such as anger, insecurity, or jealousy—and places them onto another person, often making the projector feel better by viewing the other as the source of the problem.
Types/Examples:
Defensive Projection: Attributing one’s own aggressive impulses to a friend.
Jealousy/Insecurity: A person feeling insecure in a relationship accuses their partner of being unfaithful or insecure.
Moralizing: A person with forbidden desires accuses others of being immoral.
Common Signs:
Accusing others of feeling or acting the exact way the projector is, e.g., "Why are you so angry?" when the speaker is furious.
Deflecting guilt by blaming others for their own mistakes or negative feelings.
Extreme judgment of others for specific behaviors they possess.
Effects:
While it reduces immediate internal conflict, chronic projection damages relationships, causes extreme misunderstanding, and can lead to paranoia.
Oh no they will have to give up their 2nd job they did when they were on the clock with Lumen.
