Buy more precious metals as a hedge to inflation. I've been steadily buying 1oz gold bars for around spot for years now
@n6 yes inflation has been huge - its the biggest tax there is, just hidden, people thing stuff is costing more but really what’s in your pocket is worth less and less, the true cost of running that money printing press for so long!
@fh, I hear you. Back 10-20 years ago, working for Shell in Houston you could live the good life. Could afford to buy a new customized house in a good area and be on par with some doctors and lawyers. Shell pay relative to Houston LCOL then was amazing. Insurance was also cheap then.
Therapy. Lots and lots of therapy.
Barely get anything as it is. Houston is no longer a low cost of living city with a family. So it all just becomes part of the annual salary.
