I was very active in Customer Connect up to the minute before being laid off and had to deal first hand with the frustration of customers seeing their SRs closed with a link to Customer Connect. On the other hand before I had to deal with the myriad of internal lame questions coming from the clueless support analysts, so it was a no win situation either way.

@m7 Support has been asked to keep the number of SRs at a minimum, so that's how they've managed to achieve it.
@fr you mean like a technical ct with a CSI, logs a SR for example database corruption,
the SR gets closed by the system? Man, wow!

@aj SRs are now automatically closed and the customers asked to post the question to Customer Connect instead.
LE and SC will just laugh and point at the record high stock price.
Safra doesn't care how long IT dweebs have to wait for SR resolution.
Oh I bet customers having to wait 2x or 3x for a SR to be solved are making noise too.
