How many hours is that exactly? 6,7,8,8.5? Are they trying to keep this vague on purpose?

I'm sure "the system" has this info, and I'm also sure that it's inaccurate for most employees. Not a few, most. I haven't worked a fixed schedule the entire 24 years I've been here whether hourly or salary.
Well, I dont appreciate my uncle having to travel into an office, stay 8 hours only to have to come home to work some more but what they don't get is he doesnt care! He is a WORKAHOLIC! You're only giving him what he wants!
Yes vague on purpose and keep it that way. Any clarity will go in an unfavorable direction. The HR notice was clear. “Office expectation is a full day which is 8 hours” would we expect HR to post a gray area or oh anything past 4 hours is full day. No they are vague for a reason. If your manager doesn’t talk to you keep doing what you are doing and move on. If you are talked to well then your manager is watching you. Recommend job searching.
9 hours is a full day. They factor in a one hour unpaid lunch break, but everyone has set hours somewhere in the system. Mine are 8am-5pm.
I consider a full day anything over 4 hours
8 is full day. Haven’t changed
