Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I’ve changed my mind. I’m taking the employee survey.

What he said in the ATG live really pi---d me off and changed my mind. I wasn’t going to take it, but now I will.

I’d rather blast leadership in the survey again than sit it out. If nothing else, it’ll force them to confront the exact same feedback they’ve been hearing for the last couple of years. Now, whether they choose to listen is another story, but at least it will signal nothing has changed.

If the people who are frustrated don’t participate, then all that’s left are the people who think everything is fine. That paints a completely false picture, and I’m not willing to let that happen.

The survey only has value if people answer honestly. If leadership doesn’t like the results, maybe the problem isn’t the employees giving the feedback, maybe it’s the reason for the feedback itself.

Silence changes nothing. Honest feedback at least gives them the choice to either address the problems again or explain, once again, why they think everyone else is wrong.

@bt you know why that guy is so upset and sent out that low class letter? Because the survey is so bad. Why make him feel better by no doing the survey? Don’t be so naive!

Yes. My former group director always made it clear that not completing the survey would be a bad idea. Like WTF, you mean I’ll be terminated. Thank you sir, may have another sir!

The problem is that you think ATT is a business. It is a bunch of inbreds stealing everything they can for themselves and their families. Much like the Government. You are just the camouflage they obscure themselves with while they fleece stock traders for more money.

I could be wrong, but, I don't think so

Yea…You tell them. This will scare them and I’m sure bring back WFH.

Take the survey. Expect nothing to change other than the creation of action plans that also won’t change anything.

“ 'we're forming action teams to respond to your feedback! “

Read: Soon you’ll be attending calls with your L3, at the direction of your L4, where you will be expected to brainstorm ideas and be tasked with action items that pretend to address whatever it is that you complained about.

“ you are from HR, doesn’t want the bad comments to show up..l

I’m not.

How long have you worked here? How can you seriously not understand at this point that the level of engagement is the most important metric with regard to the surveys?

How do you not understand, after last year, that the content of the surveys doesn’t matter? At all.

Yes, you’re going to have the bootlickers follow orders and take the survey. If we could somehow get 50% of management to not participate, it would send a far stronger message than whatever nonsense you’re thinking of putting in there.

Ok. Take the survey and tell them what you think. You’ll soon be terminated.

They literally need the L1 and L2's to blast leadership in the survey so that they can cut compensation to mid tier leadership. He could not have made it more clear in his little talk. If you don't fill out the survey it only hurts you .

Even under RS's reign, the results of the Employee Survey were ignored by Leadership -- in ATS, 'we're forming action teams to respond to your feedback! News to come soon!' and then... crickets. Rinse/repeat.

At least with JS's 8/1 email, we finally found out what 'they' thought of us. It was refreshing in a way - at least we know now for sure what you think of your largest asset, and from now on, we'll respond accordingly.

I feel like someone from HR is behind this.

DO NOT TAKE THE SURVEY!

THE ONLY THING THEY DON’T WANT IS LOW PARTICIPATION.

TOUR SCATHING COMMENTS AND LOW SCORES DO NOT MATTER TO THEM.

“ After his threat about bonus and survey results the other day,…”

Ok guys. I just don’t watch any of the stuff anymore since last year. Nothing.

I keep seeing this and thought for sure it was something made up here. He ACTUALLY said something like this ??? Please elaborate and/ or specify exactly what he said???

Also, DO NOT TAKE THE SURVEY!!!!!!

After his threat about bonus and survey results the other day, I’m guessing a lot of people will give top ratings, regardless whether it’s their actual opinion or not. It’s a shame it has come to this. They could probably save a lot of money by just not doing a survey, after all, what’s the point? He doesn’t want to hear what anyone has to say, he wants to hear everyone say it’s all Great and that he’s Magnificent!

I agree. Can’t let the bootlick brigade win. I’ll dish it again and laugh when stank sends another drunken angry email blaming the employees for his mistakes. If they want real feedback I will be happy to give it.

@a1 I disagree. I think even with 50% participation he will still cherry pick stats and show it as an improvement to the prior years results. Better off giving it to them again and not backing down.

The damage caused by the notorious 8/1/25 email manifesto can never be undone. If you must take it, blast them. Personally I have taken my last survey for the company. If participation falls below 50% the results are invalid and that will set him off even further. Proves he’s lost the crew.
