That's what I'm hearing about the restructuring and layoffs next week. Can anyone confirm?

Do not remove the fire wall between the patient and pharmacy! We need punching bags to endure being yelled at. Hilarious. Thank you for the good write up. I liked it.
@ah Centralized Services COULD be more effective with technology. But that will never happen. A bunch of do-nothing id--ts run Walgreens IT and they get nothing done.
@af True. Centalized Services could be a valuable resource if it was supported properly through updated technology and more emphasis on taking care of customers instead of the relentless emphasis on metrics leading to poor service and high employee turnover.
@ac Centralized Services is far more than call centers taking inbound calls for Walgreens retail pharmacies. They support StoreCare, Service Desk, E-commerce, PhLEX, PCP calls, clinical trials, retail specialty, TPR support through Resolution Center, payer and pharma programs, and a lot more.
Within Centalized Services resides the call center that provides a barrier between the patient callers and the understaffed store pharmacies. Patients find that the call center cannot resolve many of their issues but without it, the store pharmacies would be bombarded with calls from upset patients due to Walgreen’s poor service so it’s in Sycamore’s interest to keep things status quo for now. A recent feel-good video put out by corporate stated corporate’s intention to rely on Central Services even more in the future.
What are Centralized Services??
Centralized Services cover a wide range of roles and support across Walgreens. The operational/production team members at CS sites will not be impacted by any changes. The Support Office roles within CS should also be safe based on the work they are supporting.
