@an -as of right now there is no NJ WARN notice

Then either the site is slow putting it up or AT&T will face further fines (and more benefits to those effected). I know someone in NJ who told me directly their off payroll date was September (not 7/1) which directly corresponds to the 90 day notice required for mass layoffs in NJ.

@as - not sure who downvoted haha…. It either is or isn’t there … right now there is no new entry for AT&T on the warn site.

enough in NJ that the NJ WARN act got triggered. That allows people to stay up to 90 days--mid September--if they want to stomach the place (you are allowed to wave it and leave early).

@a2 Annnnnd it's done. Manager called, he released the letter 10 minutes later. Funny that the letters are signed with your manager's name and not some HR person. Already completed the checklist....damn them for making me take yet another PLE class in my time of mourning...haha

My coworker had an early meeting with the manager and, upon his return, grabbed his things and left without uttering a word. I’m drawing my own conclusions.

If you have a good manager, you have already been notified. Make sure to ask why you didn’t hear in advance if you end up getting the call.

Not yet...I already know I am being let go. I had already planned to retire months ago and was able to save someone else. Supposed to have an early call with my manager and then some e-mail from HR should appear.
