Vacation and Sick time

Due to the new Formula, you will have to come in extra days if you have Vacation and Sick time if you want to hit the 60%.

Doesn't account for military leave though.

@af say you have a vacation day now that week you have to go in 3 times out of 4 or 75%. 3/4 is 75% 2/4 is 50%. So yah to hit the 60% is way more days. FYI I will not be hitting 60%

@af great example. Doubt will hit home with many on this thread. Might need to figure out a way to incorporate pictures next time.

They don’t actually care what we do. They just want us there. I can’t wait for the survey scores. The highlights are going to be the most random d-mb things. What a joke. Tell us what we think of the MC and if you care about us. I want to see that number.

I think at this point I spend more time talking about and trying to understand RTO.

It's interesting how it's on everyone's mind all the time now and I land up spending at least 40 minutes a day talking with my coworkers about it.

It's pretty depressing how the company treats and thinks of it's employees now.

@af not true. Read FAQ - has examples

Example:
Month has 4 weeks summing to 20 work days. Coming in 3 days each of the 4 weeks gets u to the 60% (12 / 20).
Let's say you take off 1 full week (5 days). Coming in 3 days each of the 3 weeks gets u to 60% (9 / 15).

You don't have to work maku up hours for vacation...kind of defeats the purpose right?

Bunch of mo--ns on this site.

@a2 that is a new formula. Before the new change, sick and vacation days were explicitly deducted from Office days.

Heck, even 60.01% is new. That's not even 3 days. It's 4. Requiring 60.01 instead of 60 is clearly bad faith.

Holy cr-p, you work for a bank and can't even handle basic reasoning and math? Good Lord.

Thus far, nothing on this entire site comes close to approximating how actual math works.

No, it's the formula. A sick day reduces the total number of days in the month, which would be equal to 50%, but you are expected to be in 60% therefore you have to go in more day's b/c of calling out or being on vacation. I know a lot of people don't understand basic math.

@OP There is not a new formula. Enter your sick days and vacation time in Workday, and it will automatically deduct those days from the total possible to be in the office, so you need to hit 60.1% of fewer total days.
