AI push from the top

Am I the only one whose productivity wend down due to AI? Checking and rechecking things is taking more time than doing something on my own. I'm just saying, this AI push might not have the results they're hoping for.

@af this will get worse when experience and corporate knowledge disappear as people with higher salaries disappear with no regard for why they were paid more.

@a9 my cousin's friend's brother said that's not true so I am just going to take it as a fact...

I find the part is no one is talking about is the increased speed in coding is causing backups during PR/Code review time. All code is supposed to be reviewed but I fear code reviews will fall by the wayside when team leads start getting asked why reviews are taking so long. I’m already seeing an uptick in the types of bugs on PRs that are things AI miss. Such as understanding larger architecture patterns that if not followed results in incorrect assumptions and bugs.

I've heard this from multiple people that are still there. Takes them twice as long to get their work done than it did before. They didn't elaborate how the AI was taking longer, just said it did.

Message from MF Larry - if not doing things with the latest AI toy, get lost.

I think results may vary, but overall it’s been very beneficial for me.
