@ba That's team level considerations. What about high level stuff like what's the total severance payout compared to the severance budget, legal approval to ensure there isn't a possible discrimination or other lawsuit. These are the things that would be done at the org level and difficult to do at the team level. Given how conservative Oracle is, I highly doubt they will rush this.
@b4 Managers have already been doing talent review with HR. This was weeks ago. The ranked everyone. Then managers received a list of consideration. They reviewed it to ensure they still have operational capacity and sent the final RIF list in Friday.
@b0 List submission to execution in 2-3 days feels too small a turn around time. The list will have to go through multiple levels of approval, legal clearance, etc. It might not happen before earnings.
RIF list was due Friday yes. If you had a positive interaction with your manager on Friday you’ll still have a job by Tuesday
@af doom-scrolls this board because he has FOBO and has no strategy for when he gets cut. serious doormat issues.
its clear that either 24h before earnings on march 10th or 24-48h after the earnings , this is how always companies do it , its coming this week , thats it .
stay strong , stay positive , what got you to land this job can help you get any other job
Maybe this time you will finally guess correctly, troll. Just keep making the same thread every day.
