What’s up with the new zoom water marking? Are they trying to prevent leaks?

this comes as a surprise? Other companies have been using watermarks, blocking writing to usb and copying files to 3rd party sites for years. Oracle is finally getting a bit more serious about security... Maybe one day they will start using AD too? Being on a huge workgroup and being an admin of your machine is soo 1980
Oh, sure, blame it on the zoomers. How about the boomers??? They’re watermarking too!
@af support session or knowledge transfer might accidentally reveal sensitive info like credentials
@af I don't know what you work on, but I certainly don't work on anything that's "open now", nor will it be for some time.
Any potential leak of information is being locked down. See the policies about not using USB keys, external hard drives, etc...
What to leak ? Everything is open now.
Only thing in future is the layoff's through zoom when it is massive. So if any one leaks to media can be identified ;)
yes, any screenshot or recording will identify who did it
I assume it's just to reminder to employees not to share/publish them, I am pretty sure there should be hidden markers to identify those who maliciously corrupt the marking in post-production.
