@af note for next round of layoffs

People will doubt anything happening even when emails are out. I'm sure we'll be back in this situation in 6 months or a year.

@ac looks like they invented a new acronym, basically announcing consolidation to one corporate layer

Womp womp, guess we will find out who is truly essential and who is dead weight. Let the emails commence. For those getting the axe, might want to reevaluate your career choices going forward. Maybe you need to rethink getting your hand dirty or doing some physical labor

We received a reply email from One of the SVPs in S&T who reports to Athina that the WFH email does NOT apply to Purchase and Plano based S&T employees. We are to report in office as normal and are encouraged to attend Athina’s town hall tomorrow! So I would assume that means we are safe.

If you didn’t get the email that means you’re not on the new PEPNA DL. Very bad sign.

@a9 yeah if you check the February threads in here lots of complaints people didn't get email for a while. Also depends if people are in impacted locations. If there's any unionized truck drivers on here checking this doesn't apply to you.

Don’t panic if you haven’t received the email. These distribution lists are tens of thousands of people large and takes time to hit inboxes.

I got the email, but already work from home. Not for any of the HQ locations mentioned.

Leadership truly diabolical. Told bunch of external people heads up 2 weeks ago because meetings would be remote. Cares less about own employees.

PEPNA Employees,

This week, we're taking steps to better position us to drive growth in a fast-changing marketplace. We will be making structural changes to our business that will affect some roles in the company.
Out of respect and empathy for those impacted, we're asking U.S.-based PEPNA employees - located in Chicago, Plano and Purchase HQ locations, as well as PBUS Division Offices and PFUS Region Offices - to work remotely this week.

For Canada, we're asking all Mississauga HQ-based associates to work remotely on Monday and Tuesday
this week.

We know that change can bring uncertainty, and we want you to know we're approaching this moment with respect and care. As we navigate these go-forward changes, it's important to prioritize the wellbeing of our colleagues and maintain business continuity.
Employees should expect to hear more information from leadership in the coming days. Thank you for the dedication, teamwork and resilience you show every day. Together, we're building a united future for PepsiCo North America - faster, stronger and better.
