Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

I'm at the end of my rope

I don't even care what happens next. I just can't keep stressing like this. The whole Cognizant situation has been its own special he-l. And now there's talk of more layoffs this summer? Why am I bothering with this job? We're just circling the drain.

Layoffs have been happening monthly for some time now. More to come, unfortunately.

@b6 if you straight up refuse, it would probably be classified as insubordination. There is probably a more subtle way to handle it while you look for another job. Yep, understanding what it needed to KT might be a problem for leaders to track. For those struggling with their mental health (and who isn't), if you are in the US, please call 988. Let someone know that you need support.

What happens if you don't train your replacement? You just refuse. Especially if no one else knows what you know?

@ad for those of us scoring at home, what does the process of KT look like? One on one training and recorded sessions? Is that what is being referred to? It is unbelievably foolish for FIS to put access to their systems/training at risk after treating employees so badly. If there had been more notice, if employees were treated with generosity and compassion, a different outcome could be expected. Not suggesting that anyone do so, merely looking for the whole picture.

Talk from where, who, what. More details please - or it’s just you saying it.
