Badge swipes at other offices

heads up - if you are swiping in at an office that does not match your formal office location, they are definitely looking at you. Ask your manager to change your location (if possible) or start coming in to the correct location otherwise this is the excuse they’re looking for…

@ad @ad this is driven by capacity management. Each team has a set number of seats. In order to retain them, swipes are used to “prove” the allocation matches the actual demand. If not, then it becomes clear to managers that their employees are working in an office out of geographical convenience instead of where the rest of their teammates sit, defeating the purpose of “collaboration.” Just talk it out with your manager proactively - it’s the people who think they’re sneaky that get in trouble.

They aren't talking about occasional swipes in other locations. Its people working in a different office the majority of the time.

They monitor everything..how many hours on the network. They monitor key strokes on your keyboard. Scan everything you write in emails and teams. Don't forget to do all your mandatory trainings and your personal trading certs..Also dont forget to take your mandatory two weeks vacation if you are in a sensitive role. Cross every T and dot all your I's!

Thanks for the tip!

What else is being monitored, do you know?

Perhaps how many hours we are on the network? I heard we must be at least 6 hours a day minimum. Not sure if it’s true.

OP
How did you find this out? I’ve been flip flopping between Jersey City and 240 G and no one has given me grief yet.
