Cisco FY25 Reward Cycle

The reward letters are finally available

What is your bonus ipf, raise percentage and / or RSU worth?
Also mention grade, and location and mention both grades if you got a promotion.

This ! I figured that long time ago. I was always told by managers that normal range is 0.8 - 1.2, where 1.0 is normal, expected performance. One year, when I worked my ... off, the manager praised me and gave me 1.2 + some small amount of RSU. The rest of my years, it was mostly 1.0. But here's the thing: bad managers have their favorites; those people not only get their rewards, but they are also given tasks and projects that lead to promotions and rewards.

I used to work for Cisco. As a grade 11, my last raise was 4 years after the one before. They definitely can be a large gap between raises that will not cover inflation. I did do much better on RSUs.

As a manager, one year I worked out the amount the bonus budget was over funded. There is enough budget to give everyone about a 1.2 or 1.25 IPF. If you get less than 1.2, you are definitely not getting your full share of the bonus.

An IPF of 1.35 is considered great. One year, you lost elgibility for the early retirement if your IPF was this high.

Actually, I was quite surprised with mine. No increase (as normal) but 1.25 and large chunk of RSU.

@ad Jeez. That's one heck of an RSU.

Raise that maybe met inflation.
No RSU this round, but last-year's starts in Nov, so I was expecting that.
A decent IPF.
Unfortunately numbers, location, and org would probably be enough to ID me.
After the way they discussed bonuses on the fiscal I think I did better than expected.

@ba

wow - you work at a site that Cisco is actively reducing investment. Be glad you got anything. It won't be long before you're rewarded with an exit package.
