Read the small print in your contract…usually something along these lines….The Employee will be expected to perform any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Company from time to time, which are consistent with their capabilities, job title, and the overall nature of their role and responsibilities within the business. NOV loves the flexibility it gives them and is pretty much a standard.

You must be new. Comment back when you get 20 plus new tasks dropped on you and have absorbed all of the responsibilities of layed off staff.
