The recent visit from the Indian ENGINE supervisors to ABU Gorgon BWI raised several concerns:
• Lack of Preparation: The visitors arrived without a clear agenda or plans.
• Limited LNG Experience: Demonstrated minimal familiarity with LNG operations, which is critical for their roles.
• Technical Gaps: Showed limited technical knowledge and was unable to address basic questions regarding both short- and long-term ENGINE transition strategies.
• Communication Issues: Communication skills were notably poor, leading to confusion and lack of clarity during discussions.
• Professional Impact: The visit was perceived as embarrassing by BWI personnel, including experienced EXPAT ENGINE supervisors.
This visit has unfortunately undermined any confidence in the ongoing ENGINE recruitment efforts in Bengaluru.
Has any other BUs or CVX sites had similar recent concerns?
