There is no specific cure, vaccine, or antiviral treatment for hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS). The only effective treatment is early detection and supportive care, typically in an intensive care unit (ICU).

@q9 it's smart for you to stay home, more jobs for me. That is, with you gone they can keep me and make the budget.
@pk it's smart to stay home. Leading sheep to sla-ghter. Sticking our head in the sand this time around.
This thread is a perfect example of why people are getting stacked, ranked, and displaced.
Mo--ns looking for excuses to get out of work and not show up to the office.
@k6 WFH worked..let me guess you didn't like being cooped up for two years huh? I loved it actually. Two years was enough data to know it can be effectively done at home.
They dropped the ball giving options to people instead of a heavy handed approach....
If grandma has to die for the economy, then so be it. That's what they said about COVID, same a--holes will expect you to bleed out your a--hole for shareholder value.
If people truly '"cared" they wouldn't be wishing for a global health crisis just so they can return to sitting at home in their jammies posting about unfair life is. The trash on here would gladly trade the lives of others for a few weeks of WFH. What human sc-m.
Not covid. But far more fatal if caught. But yet if they truly cared, wfh should be full time again.
Do you guys really think they will let us WFH? Let’s not forget they allowed a WF employee to die alone at their desk only to not be discovered for 4 days. If you really think they care about rat po-p or guano from low hanging bats or sc-t from farm animals, you got your head in the clouds.
YOU GUYS - one American confirmed asymptomatic for hantavirus as of 5/11. That means the united states protocol of monitoring for symptoms is not going to be enough to prevent the spread.
Don't worry. If you get infected, just drink some bleach.
There were mice at Tempe, AZ. locations that would p-e and po-p all over our desks.
Why do people have to freak out of this nonsense. Your chances of getting infected with Hantavirus is extremely small. Stay away from rat dropping and ur--e. The people that got infected has close proximity with each other-- don't swap sp-t or other bodily fluids with somebody like that and you'll be fine. This is not COVID.
@ab Oh STFU with this plandemic nonsense. Id--t
Any instance of hantavirus exposure in the workplace can create substantial legal risk for employers who deny remote‑work options and allow infected employees to remain on‑site, potentially transmitting the virus to coworkers.
I can't wait for the next pandemic. BRING ON WFH!!!!
OMFG...yet another scary plandemic...the chance of catching Hanta virus (unless you are cooped up on a ship) are about 1 in 11 million.
"The overall chance of getting hantavirus is extremely low for the general public, as it is a rare disease. While deadly, it is not considered a significant public health risk. Infections usually occur in rural areas from breathing in contaminated dust from deer mice droppings, with only 15–50 cases reported annually in the U.S." Source: Washington State University
Wash your hands, eat less processed foods, eat your veggies and good cuts of meat, take your vitamins and you'll be fine.
@a2 omg this is it!!!
95% of the office is Indian, their immune systems are like super human after thousands of years living in septic tank conditions. Indians bring herd immunity to the office.
Hantavirus is more rare than finding an intelligent post on this forum. You're not going to get hantivirus and you're not going to get excused from RTO.
