I’m going to take a different perspective here. Joe is usually open and transparent in his Q&As, but he certainly didn’t behave like himself in this one. I believe Dan or Sam told him to stop talking and revert to being one of those familiar Verizon “leaders” we’re accustomed to. Perhaps that’s also why the HR person was sitting next to him this time, likely there to monitor his behavior.
