I've got the general tab up right now and watching the literally freak out. The number is slowly dropping - it was in the 165K range, and then slowly went to 164K and now 163K. I'm assuming they've clicked a button and people are losing access.

@aa Go to the general tab in slack and look in the upper right corner - you'll see the total number of employees (subscribed to general) there.
165,604 - seems to have stabilized.
how do you check the numbers in slack?

@a6 take your computer off WiFi first of all, then just google your operating system on another device. It’s straight forward. That should remove all your passwords and files. The settings on my machine don’t allow a full wipe but for most of us it’s fine

160996 - this is incredibly stressful.
It doesn’t appear to be all at once. I got kicked out of slack at some point between 6am and now, but I’m still getting outlook on my phone. My computer didn’t lock me out but I initiated factory reset at about 7.

They are still sending emails and rolling this out in batches. The engineers who optimized the rollout were laid off first of course.
