No internal announcement welcoming the new CFO today? At least they managed to update the external website.

@cz You tell me. BlackBerry booted his a-s out a year ago. I bet you it wasn't for his stellar performance.

He took over in 2019, BB had ~4k employees, in 2024 when he got canned himself they were down to ~2.5k. Who do you think makes these financial decisions?

Oh and to top it all off he did absolutely nothing for the company. He gutted 50% of the company and by the end of his 5 year reign, the company was now performing 30% worse than when he got hired.

What an amazing and talented person to join OpenText to make critical financial decisions. This bozo jumps from one sinking ship to the next so he can get his bonus, while making big problems worse.

I'm starting to think Tom Jenkins is a total fu--ing id--t.

@a2 Interim CEO pressed send only. Actually , someone did that too. He never read it. These senior leaders cannot write a paragraph. They are not particularly savvy people in that regard. Every all hands, every internal communication, every LI post, every written word someone else pulled together. Some are downright id--ts, seriously, zero common sense and zero interest in anything other than showing others what big important business people they are.

Wow..he does have quite the reputation.

Good luck all!

Ah yes Steve Rai, known for gutting BlackBerry into an empty skeleton through massive cuts and layoffs. What a wonderful addition to the family.

It is the beginning of the end. They found the biggest clown to join this circus.
