Is the company negotiating with the EWC (European Workers Council)? How are negotiations going? When will the local councils tell us something?

@120 what difference does it make in the end? both EU and UK workforce will be equally cut.
@aa I am sorry to share this with you, but according to some sources like https://x.com/benchu_/status/1790330740976087270 the UK is supposedly only slightly better than USA in worker rights. That is absolutely wild if true, and I wonder if leaving the EU was such a bright idea after all.
Does anyone knows where we are with this? When can we expect (in europe) the layoffs to start?
they started this week in Dubai, Riyadh. -20% been told by HR. I'm one of them.
I've seen across other posts about EMEA/UK that its looking to hit us next month - October or maybe into November which majorly su-ks as its still the unknown for at least another month. Someone said they're meeting with the EWC this month over it but not sure where people are getting their info from. I'm not sure how they go about it for the UK as we aren't apart of the EWC anymore
