Laptop monitoring Incydr

If you have this running on your laptop, you are getting a notice.
It's a code42 program used to extensively monitor your file transfers.

Before you give yourself a pat on the back for how smart you are by removing Insydr.. Taking data as you leave or attempting to circumvent security controls is grounds for withholding severance benefits.

Why gamble and risk losing all that money for some stupid files you dont even need.

I have code42-aat.exe running on my machine, built Thu Apr 16, 2026
(This is Incydr) - I'll let you know if I survive (I suspect not).

I survived, as I said before, everybody has it.

It’s on every laptop in the company, except Fran and Chuck.

It's used by departments normally not exclusively for LR.

For context - after a bit of digging, that extension was loaded into my laptop on April 16th 2026 and is using a ton of memory doing whatever it does.

@a5 Incydr only used for impacted. Base code42 always applied. Too much compute to monitor whole company with Incydr. Incydr = only LRd

Don't be an id--t, that has been there since 2y ago when it got mass deployed before that LR. Yes it is used to monitor file transfers and exftrations

Apparently this might show up as com.code42.agent.extension as well.

I feel sorry for the customers who pay for this code, I sure as he-l don't want to steal it.
