I don’t believe anything there is no email. No email has been sent. I will believe when i see it
I’ve been job hunting since October. The writing was on the wall when we finished 2025 with no CEO. Because OT doesn’t have any upwards movement whatsoever and I’ve been working outside my scope being promised promotions for 2 years now, my experience and title don’t match at all. I have no leads and no interviews. I am nowhere near an OpenText office. I have a family, kids, and friends. I’m not relocating. I know I’m not the only one in this situation and it’s frankly insane that this company would think this scenario isn’t the norm and as a result is putting thousands of people in insanely hard positions.
To the folks who are hurt by this, the people hoping it wasn't true. - I'm legitimately sorry. It's looking real.
Take care of yourselves today. And if that means leaving OT, be it for time, money, or anything so be it.

Core hours are likely at manager/dept discretion.
Whatever your core hours are should be ironed out by Feb. If not, prolly a good time to leave anyway.
And remotes given 12 months to relocate or gone !
