Does anyone have any insight as to how many people accepted the VRP this time? I think I remember the first one being around 950 out of 3500

@b7 Same.
@dm Some people where given 2 week of pay per year of service less 2026 months worked. Others got better. A laid off person gets 2 weeks per year of service. The cobra is less than if you are laid off.
if you take the VRP and your pay runs out before you find another job ( if you are looking) you cannot get unemployment ( in Arizona) BUT if you get laid off apply for it ( have to state your severance) once severance is all paid out then unemployment will kick in or can apply after.
Yes I am. I want out of this poorly run sh*t show. It is weird that some areas that were supposed to be part of this VRP - like Payer Solutions - have apparently decided not to offer it to their employees. That’s messed up.
@ds But it’s not every department/segment of the company. Just like the first offering only certain areas were included.
@ce I read somewhere saying it’s 55+ years old and 5+ years of service
Moving up the clock on a planned retirement. Yes, the VRP isn't much better than the current severance package, but I'm ready to exit the world of corporate America.
I didn’t get the offer. Wonder what exactly the selection criteria it is?
I am passing on it and taking my chances. Still have a mortgage to pay and years to go before being eligible for SS and Medicare. A few months of COBRA subsidies doesn't make the offer any more attractive.
I’m taking it as well. It’s not the best package but I can work with it.
@a9 curious about your decision to take VRP. Were you already planning to retire and this just moved up the clock, or are you planning to look for a new role?
I am
