Some lost more than half of their teams. What are they supposed to do now?

@a9 They also discontinued weekend pay stipends for nurses last month. Mandatory weekends now, no longer volunteer.
Say “that problem is above my pay grade.” Continue working at your existing reasonable productivity level. And force the leaders who got us into this mess to find a way out of it. Don’t take on any more problem solving or work now than you have to.
when hcsc cannot meet government mandates costing hundreds of thousands in fines (or more), subscriber sentiment down, profits get worse, government decides to "open" insurance (or somehow causes hcsc to be less of a monopoly, e.g. new, future iteration amazon one?)
nothing stays the same forever. companies have to be focused on being agile... not focused on RTO, micromanaging employees, riffing talented employees regardless of tenure, etc..
They get rid of a lot of people and now asking to work longer hours and on the weekends, nothing in return
I was told that my position was no longer needed, therefore my work must not have been needed, therefore nobody should do that work going forward. If you are asked to take on new work, use every tactic you can to get out of it.
@OP you don’t see? Everyone will be expected to work extra harder. Without anymore money or benefits. You’ll see more ambulances at HQ …..work you to death.
