@b1 You're not at all wrong here. I never knew, from having left several previous jobs, that you could mourn a company's decline and death like this. Honestly, I genuinely knew in my gut in Dec 2021 that a "crash" was coming to CDW and 100% directly because of executive leadership. Just hit me like a ton of bricks sitting in church one day, so I wrote it down and dated it. Here we are, 5.5 years later watching it completely play out EXACTLY like what hit my gut.
Completely surreal experience.

@b1 I think you're absolutely right. This all started with Leahy. I'm convinced that she is the #1 problem here as it has been a steady and constant downward spiral ever since she took over.
Now, do I believe that it's all her fault we're at where we are? Nope...I think the board as a whole is, but they have obviously stood behind Leahy. I challenge anyone to go do some notable research into her divorce back in 2020. You'll see who the real Chris Leahy is real fast, even if only half of it is true. She fits right in with dirty Chicago politicians. Keep in mind, she's a lawyer by trade.
@b1 This might be the 7th or 8th layoff since late 2022.
@a6 This is where I'm at. I was at CDW for a long time. I have a lot of friends. I was upset yesterday and contacted dubbers about potential positions because of the people.
But then it hit me. This isn't the first layoff. This is a pattern and may be a blessing in disguise once it all plays out. The CDW I loved working at hasn't existed in years now. It took this week for me to realize it.

CDW leadership is far more stubbon than to change course in 1-2 days. I'm afraid that we've entered an era within CDW that the "corporate culture" of a pulicly traded company has finally taken it's last blow, and the old CDW is now officially completely dead. Time to play taps and move on to bigger and better things.
Make your own clique. The C suite offers 0 value. People need to unionize and take the company back to what it was. You have enough sellers walk out demanding changes the hit would only take a day or two before they would crumble.
I can count on 1 hand the times I actually got help from management in 8yrs. Of that it was just fixing internal problems other leaders created or allowed. CDW needs to flatten the structure and get back to executing.
