Does it show that you’re not at assigned location if you take a meeting from another building but you’re at your assigned building for most of the day? Im in Minneapolis towers and sometimes asked to attend meetings from the other building downtown.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter if you swipe at another building as long as you swiped at your building that day.
From what I’ve been told about the time tracking, it’s just first badge swipe or network ping of the day until the last of either for the day. That’s probably regardless of location, but if you’re really worried you can always make sure you’re at your assigned location twice at least 8 hours apart on any given day.
@bk managers must not be sharing them.
@e9 can confirm. I had one for ONE week where I didn’t go in 3 days and it brought my average down.
Record in your calendar or something that you worked elsewhere bc of a meeting. That way if you get a “check in” in workday you have justification for not jumping through the hoops they’re putting out for all us circus animals. Same deal if you travel or attend a work thing outside your building.
@bb managers are doing workday check ins for RTO issues related to hours and going to a non assigned location
Right now it is visible where you are working from and it could be different then your profile BUT it shows you are coming to a WF location. Right now that is all that matters. There is enough imperfections in the system that it is not the focal point. As long as you are working from a legitimate WF location / ops center you wont be called out.
Funny how it’s obvious most have not seen the actual office tracking report …
If you go to more then one building in day it will show each one….
I was In 3 buildings on major campus in one day and then on the way home stopped at another one and that day on the report shows 4 buildings…
1 was my assigned and 3 not…
The density in this thread defies gravity. There is even a purported manager talking about getting a report as if that is applicable to the OPs situation.
@a5 , Workday Check Ins aren’t even remotely for this scenario.
As long as you swipe into your assigned location at all that day counts as you going to the correct location. If you only swipe into your non-assigned location then counts as going to wrong site
@OP report we receive shows number of days swiped at non assigned location. It triggers at 5 per month. I have not received an hourly activity report. I'm in DF's org.
if for whatever reason your boss comes to you indicating you were at your non assigned office 50% of time then you can easily explain it
Nothing screams available like sitting in traffic not doing your actual job. Get outta here.
@a8 Do you work at missing a point or just this dense?
Running a daycare is about right. What else would you call a bunch of people who coffee badge in every day and are otherwise rarely available to do their job? If you don't like being treated like a child direct your ire at those people not the company that gave them literally years to stop being lying thieves before beginning to hold everyone accountable. Welcome to the reality of the other 99% of the workforce which is expected to be where they are assigned a full 8hrs every day.
Nobody cares about that. If your manager asks, just tell him the story.
You do a Work Day check in to document this.
The fact that this question is even being asked shows just how absolutely absurd and pathetic this company has become. Instead of running a damn bank with professionals, senior management prefers to run a daycare. Absolutely pathetic.
Try it and see, and please report back. It sounds like you have a good reason for working two locations in a day, if you get flagged on reporting and someone asks for an explanation. Im sure others would be curious to know if it even throws a flag. My assigned office is 45 minutes away, but theres another office 5 minutes away, if it conformed with their reporting,I would absolutely finish my day at that office sometimes
