It took getting sick to realize how bad it had gotten. Now all my energy will be focused on finding a way out.

Its made my weekends better. I leave at 3 and don't turn my laptop on again until 7 a.m. Monday morning. Weekend stars earlier. I'm at happy hour by 3:30.

I have less stress in the new market based model. Work eight and go home. I have all kinds of free time now to do what I want.
CEO said it himself, NO LOYALTY.
Nauseated every day.
I HATE MY LIFE.
@a8 if they want 80 hours, virtual status is the bare minimum they should be giving you. Let their systems fail or it will never get better. Working yourself to death is bad for you, your team, and the stockholders. There is no pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. You will not be rewarded for going the extra mile. AT&T does not deserve more than 40. Stop giving it to them.
GTFO. Health and family is the most important things in life. I stayed too long, nearly had heart attack and stroke, my kids saw I was stressed to the max… only to get let go. The company does NOT care about employees. It’s ALL about EBITA, cooking the books , pi-s poor acquisitions and then by the body’s of workers.. your all thrown out like trash.
Stinky from the top down. No leaders.. all followers and yes men. Stink shall be seen and exposed ….
Don't let this dumpster fire of a company ruin or control your life. Do your 8 hours & no more.
They
don't
care
about
you.
I’ve been trying to get out of here for a long time now. The job market is absolute trash right now. My team is expected to always be on and we are working 80+hrs per week. I’m just so burnt out at this point.
That is the only solution. There will be a mass exodus from this company and there’s nothing they can do to change it now.
Do your 8, and don't wait to skate. This place does not deserve dedicated employees. Loyalty is dead.
