It looks like the hammer might be dropping tomorrow. Multiple reports all along the vine are saying the meeting did in fact happen this morning - informing senior leadership what / whom is to be let go. Does days in the office matter? Does commits? Tenure? H1B status? Pay? No one knows the parameters, but the meetings with the boys upstairs have started.

Not sure if this is true, but I just ran into a group of engs in MTV huddled and they said their m3 was told earlier today that it’s happening tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 5am pt. That’s the time that these managers and employees who are impacted will get 15 minute invites to ‘break the news’ to those directs. The managers were also told to clear their calendars to prioritize the conversations. Sounds like they were given basic instructions or scripts to use during the calls. Again if it’s true I know it’s not the best news but at least the unknowing is almost gone. Now it’s just finding out if it’s one of us or not. Hope this is just another false rumor and that everyone does ok. sorry I didn’t have better news.
