Resignation notice period for VPs (30 calendar days or 30 business days)

VP's (P4's) are required to give 30 days notice. Not sure if this is 30 calendar days (~4 weeks) or 30 business days (~6 weeks). Can someone clarify?

I’m still confused why, in a time when they are laying off like crazy, they require a 30 day or 60 day notice. That seems like a deterrent to leaving / requiring people to stay, and I thought their goal was to layoff. Why did they implement the 30 day / 60 day resignation notice?

it's calendar days. us EDs have 60 day notice period. if you quit you loose unvested RSR anyway, the main retribution is they can claw back any RSRs that vested in the last year and they mark you as non rehireable. I'm serving my 60 days right now, thankfully my new company was understanding of the 60 day notice.

Calendar. It was part of new notice requirements rolled out last year. They can claw back RSRs (already vested and future vesting) and make you ineligible for rehire if you don't follow it

Is that tied to RSR agreement signed? So you need to continue being employed for rsr to vest? Not following the impact of you don’t give notice .

If you tell you would like to leave next day you can as per at will exit class in the employment contract
