Where does it say what counts as a day in the office? The 4 hours in the faq is NOT for that formula.

Umm ... unpopular answer around here but yeah ... a work day is 8 hours.
@bb I don't think you're right. I wonder if they get the an office account from TOS from the software that actually tracks our Network connectivity. There has to be something like hours that's used in some logic to determine if "in office" for a specific date equals yes or no. Maybe that's the case, because HR can still deny that hours are being used but the input that they're getting from tos is using hours.
Based on my actual in office times that I meticulously track due to a complete lack of trust for upper management, 4 is NOT enough. I truly think it is 6 or 6.5 hours. Don’t fall into their trap. This is about the only thing they care about money. They want us to not comply so they can take our raise or bonus money.
@b4 the metric doesn't use ANY hour calculation to count in office. only the denominator changes when you use PTO to reduce it.
@a7 100% accurate. It's just tracking if you connected to an IP address at the bank
@ak I reached out to HR this morning and they're only given well thought out, premeditated answers to questions pertaining to the RTO dashboard. Couldn't even get an answer to how many hours are required in office. Pretty insane to push an inaccurate dashboard to Workday.
Mine just updated and gave me a few more days, but still seems inaccurate. The Workday message about data being cleaned up isn't gone, so maybe my date still isn't fully ready.
The last few months I've connected to the WiFi and I show 0 days. The only thing I can think of is that I still had my Mac VPN on, or I just didn't stay on the WiFi long enough. Who knows ?

@a7 HR is so re--rded. That faq question says ip address data also tracks the duration of time worked from a location.
BUT... it also says
Currently this data is not being incorporated into our dashboard and reports.
Then what the he-l are they using? The hr reporting group is clueless. And intentionally secretive.
Right now it's saying it's just counting IP connection, so any time on the network should count based on the FAQ definition
@a3 no, I haven't done 8 hours in office at all because I work a couple hours at home. Usually I did 5 or 6 hours. And my report shows I have more than 0 days. So it's not that.
The FAQ says that a full day is deducted from your available working days for the month only when you record four or more hours of PTO in Workday for that day. I've heard from three diff. managers on a group call that this implies that four hours is a full day for in office. Not saying it's right, but many will go by this.
